Moroccan left-back Youssef Belamri of Al Ahly's first football team suffered a knee injury during the friendly match against Spanish side Badalona.
Al Ahly secured a 3-0 victory over Badalona in their training camp in Spain as part of preparations for the new "2026-2027" season.

Al Ahly said via its official website that Belamri suffered a knee sprain.
It added that the Moroccan full-back was taken to hospital for medical examinations and X-rays to assess his condition.
Al Ahly's goals against Badalona were scored by Ali Mahmoud, Oktay Abdullah and Ahmed Sayed Zizou.
Al Ahly are scheduled to play another friendly against Europa on Friday before facing Barcelona on 19 August in the Joan Gamper Cup.
