Atlético Madrid club officially announced today the return of its player Julián Álvarez to training, amid much speculation about the future of the Argentine international and the possibility of his departure from the Spanish club's ranks this summer.
Álvarez is surrounded by much speculation regarding his future with Atlético Madrid, as the player stated during the World Cup his desire to leave the Rojiblancos, explaining that he wants to achieve his dream, in reference to his pursuit of wearing the Barcelona shirt.
Atlético Madrid confirmed in a statement on the club's official website that Álvarez returned today along with the rest of the international players, Marcos Llorente, Álex Baena, and the goalkeeper, Juan Musso, to the team, where they underwent medical examinations in preparation for returning to training.

Atlético Madrid explained that Álvarez, along with the rest of the returning players, will undergo special training under the supervision of the club's physical load specialists.
Atlético Madrid published a photo of Julián Álvarez via the club's official account on the "X" platform, where he was training in the gym, in preparation for his return to training.
It is expected that Álvarez will meet with the technical director of Atlético Madrid club, Diego Simeone, to discuss his fate with the Spanish club.
Atlético Madrid refuses to relinquish Álvarez's services this summer, and insists on obtaining the penalty clause estimated at about 500 million euros, to allow the player's departure to Barcelona.
