Spanish club Real Madrid announced, in an official statement on Monday evening, the departure of one of the team's players during the current summer transfer season for the year 2026, as published on its official website.
According to what was stated, Real Madrid announced the departure of player Gonzalo Garcia to the English league, specifically Fulham Club, to work under the leadership of his former coach Alvaro Arbeloa.
Gonzalo Garcia left Real Madrid after a career that lasted 11 seasons, as he began his career in the club's youth academy at the age of ten.

Real Madrid did not disclose the value of the deal, but press reports indicate that it amounts to 40 million euros as a fixed amount, in addition to 2 million euros as add-ons, with the Royal Club retaining 30% of the fees for any future sale.
Gonzalo Garcia signed a contract from Fulham valid until 2031, with the option to extend for another year.
