A source at Zamalek Club revealed that Abdullah Al-Saeed, the midfielder of the first football team, will return to Cairo tomorrow, Tuesday, coming from Greece, to join the team's closed camp held in the New Capital on Wednesday, in preparation for the new season.
Regarding the Angolan Chico Banza, the team's winger, the source confirmed that the player notified the football administration of his travel to the Portuguese capital Lisbon to complete the procedures for renewing his residence permit, explaining that the player will return to Cairo on either the 7th or 8th of August to join the team's training.
Zamalek had begun a closed camp starting last Saturday in the New Capital, as part of preparations for the new season.
Zamalek is preparing for the upcoming season to participate in several local and African competitions, as the White will take part in the league, Egypt Cup, and Egypt Capital Cup, in addition to the local Super Cup and the CAF Champions League.
The first football team at Zamalek Club, under the leadership of coach Moataz Jamal, continued its collective training within the closed camp the White is holding in the New Administrative Capital, in preparation for the upcoming competitions.
The technical staff of the Zamalek team was keen to increase the players' physical workload in order to prepare them physically in the best possible way after their return from the rest period they received following the end of the previous season.
