However, Cadena SER radio confirmed this morning that Rodri’s transfer to Real Madrid is in jeopardy, noting that Barcelona still dreams of signing the 30-year-old player.
The station added that Barcelona still considers a pure striker a priority to strengthen the squad, but the Blaugrana board has not ruled out signing new players before the transfer window closes if the opportunity arises.
