The Egyptian Football Association issued an official statement to confirm that no statements or official responses have been issued regarding clubs, entities, and other bodies.
This clarification comes amid the widespread controversy that has recently engulfed the sports scene following the release of several statements by various clubs.
Egyptian Football Association Statement
The Egyptian Football Association’s statement read: “The Egyptian Football Association confirms that it has not issued any statements or official responses to statements or declarations issued by any club, entity, or body during the past few days.”
The statement added: “The Association stresses that any responses or statements attributed to (sources within the Football Association) that are circulating in the media do not represent the Association’s official position unless issued through the Association’s official and legitimate channels.”
The statement emphasized: “The Football Association affirms that any position, response, or clarification issued in the Association’s name shall not be considered valid unless officially released through its approved channels, and that any other statements or opinions circulated in the media express only the personal views of their authors and do not represent the position of the Association or its Board of Directors.”
The Egyptian Association’s statement concluded: “Accordingly, the Football Association is not concerned with any responses that have not been officially issued by it, and anything not released through its official channels cannot be regarded as a position of the Association.
