The Ivorian Yan Diomande is close to joining Real Madrid club during the current summer transfer window, to strengthen the first football team.
Real Madrid club plans to restructure the team by strengthening the team's needs within the plan followed by the Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho.
Spanish press reports said that Real Madrid club will submit another offer and conclude the deal to sign Yan Diomande for 120 million euros, (For details click here).
And if Real Madrid completes its contract with Diomande, the African player will become the third who wears the Real Madrid shirt under Mourinho's leadership after Adebayor and Michael Essien.
It is known how connected the Portuguese coach is to African players and his close connection to them throughout his career in the coaching world over the past years.
Mourinho previously expressed how proud he is of the African continent and that he will not be able to visit the dark continent because of his overwhelming popularity here.
And he said in previous statements: "I cannot go to Africa, I coached Drogba, Jeremy, Kalou, Obi Mikel, Essien, every time I go to Africa, I feel as if I am in a dream, the players there adore me".
And he concluded: "Even in Europe, there are many African players, people love me sincerely, and I honestly love them, and I feel that the African player is very loyal and very pure".
Diomande will be the 14th player from the African continent who will train under Mourinho's leadership in a list that includes legends at the top of whom are Mohamed Salah and Samuel Eto'o.
