Croatian Krunoslav Jurčić former Pyramids coach, expressed his happiness with what he achieved with the Sky team, confirming that he has special memories with them by winning the CAF Champions League, due to the difficulty of winning this title for a newly founded club.
Jurčić said in television statements via the "On Sport" channel: "Coaching Pyramids was difficult, I put all my energy into this project, and at times I felt that I was unable to continue working at the same pace".
He added: "Nervousness on the field is part of my personality, and when I took on the Pyramids task, we had to achieve success, so I was nervous at the beginning and the pressures were causing me nervousness in many matches".
He continued: "One of my job tasks is to create pressure on the referees, but this did not help me in pressuring the referees in the Egyptian League and this method did not succeed with them".
When asked about Ramadan Sobhi's crisis?: "I was not happy with what happened to him, he is a strong, great and big player and he is a good person, and he has leadership within the team and at times he was the savior, and the problems that occurred with him distanced him from the ball and his focus".
He explained: "The best players in the Egyptian League, from Al-Ahly Trezeguet and Zizo and from Zamalek Hossam Abdel Majeed, all of them are distinguished players and I have always been impressed by them".
When asked about Pyramids not winning the league, he replied: "Winning it is very difficult, Al-Ahly and Zamalek are the dominant ones over the years and they have fan support and backing, and Pyramids will not be crowned with the league as long as it does not have support on the field and outside it".

He touched on talking about coaching Al-Ahly: "Perhaps rumors, I did not receive any official call, all of them are speculations, I want rest now to regain my strength, before starting a new task".
He added: "Al-Ahly is the biggest club in Egypt and one of the biggest clubs on the continent, it has wonderful capabilities, a distinguished and strong team, and it has a battalion of players who have the spirit of winning and victory".
He commented on the league champion's crisis with Al-Ahly and Pyramids' celebration on the field: "We exerted great effort in this tournament, and when we reached this position, an additional 3 points should have been deducted from Al-Ahly because of its withdrawal against Zamalek, just as happened with the Whites in a similar situation, the regulations were changed, but inside us we knew that we deserved to win this tournament".
