The Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, headed by Hussein Labib, denied what has been circulated in the past hours regarding retracting the decision to establish the football company or stopping work on it.
The club confirmed, in an official statement, that everything raised in this regard is completely untrue, stressing that the club president has not taken any decision to stop the procedures for establishing the football company.
Zamalek explained that the Board of Directors had previously taken an official decision about two weeks ago to establish the football company, after the approval of the majority of the board members, confirming that the decision is final and there is no intention to retract it.
Zamalek is studying the submitted offers
The club indicated that the Board of Directors is currently studying the offers submitted by a number of investors, to select the most suitable offer that serves the interest of Zamalek and ensures the success of the football company and the achievement of its objectives in the coming period.
Zamalek concluded its statement by confirming that after completing the study of the offers and reaching a final agreement with the investors, the matter will be presented to the club's General Assembly to approve the investors' shares and the mechanisms of the football company's operations, in accordance with legal procedures and the governing regulations.
