Hani Saeed, the sports director of Pyramids Club, decided to grant the international players who participated with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup additional rest before returning to join the team's collective training in preparation for the upcoming football season.
Pyramids team is currently conducting its training in Cairo, before traveling to Turkey to hold the preparation camp for the new season, during the period from July 23 until next August 9, under the leadership of the new technical director Rolani Mokina.

Hani Saeed explained in statements via the media center of Pyramids Club that the Jordanian international Odeh Fakhouri, as well as Mahmoud Saber returning from loan, are joining the team's training at the beginning of the preparation camp.
The sports director indicated that the trio Mustafa Zico, Mohand Lashin, and Karim Hafez will join the Pyramids team delegation in Turkey starting from July 29 and will continue with the team until the end of the camp and return to Cairo on the ninth of August.
