Journalistic reports revealed new developments regarding Turkish club Besiktas's interest in signing Egyptian star Mohamed Salah to bolster its attacking ranks.
Besiktas begins its season on Thursday, July 23, when it will face Danish side Midtjylland in the second round of Europa League qualifiers.
Meanwhile, Besiktas will play its first Turkish league match against Eyüpspor on August 16.

According to Turkish journalist "Onur Taşçıoğlu", Onder Ozen, the sporting director of Besiktas, is among the figures most eager to complete a deal to sign Mohamed Salah.
