And a source from Al Ahly told FilGoal.com : "We entered into serious negotiations with each of: Monsef Bekrar, player of Dinamo Zagreb, Salio Bangoura, striker of Mouloudia Algiers, Seifane Ben Jedida, player of Maghreb Fes, and Ali Alwan, top scorer of Al-Sailiya Qatar".
And he added, "We aim to sign two of them according to the course of negotiations and financial agreements, and we did not offer 4 million euros to sign the Algerian Bekrar as rumored".
Croatian reports mentioned that Al Ahly wants to sign Monsef Bekrar for 4 million euros, but the same source denied that entirely and in detail.
Monsef Bekrar began his career with USM Sétif before moving to the Croatian club Istra in the summer of 2022.
Then Bekrar moved to New York City in the United States in the summer of 2023, before returning to the Croatian league through the gate of Dinamo Zagreb last summer.
The 25-year-old played 42 matches with Dinamo Zagreb, scoring 18 goals and providing 7 assists in all competitions.
Internationally, he represented the Algerian national team in 7 matches and scored two goals.
