Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, revealed the date for President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's reception of the first national football team delegation upon their return from participating in the 2026 World Cup finals.
The spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic wrote on his official page: "President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will receive tomorrow, Saturday, the Egyptian national football team delegation and the technical and administrative staff."
The meeting is expected to include honoring the Pharaohs' players and the technical and administrative staff, after the national team's remarkable journey in the World Cup and qualifying for the round of 16 for the first time.
The Egyptian national team had exited the World Cup in the round of 16 after a difficult 3-2 loss to Argentina, following an outstanding performance against the title holders.
